Malachi Bogdanov came to Padova in 2001 to collaborate in the Artistic Direction of Kėklos Teatro. Since his arrival he has already directed two shows for the company: L'Anconitana by Ruzante and Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. He trained at the Actor's Theater of Louisville in the USA and then at the Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Afterward, Malachi formed his own company, Torsion Theatre (London), where he began as an actor before moving over to directing. Prior to joining Kėklos, Malachi was Associate Director for the English Shakespeare Company (ESC) in London. He has directed several plays of Shakespeare and other authors which have toured around Europe and Australia. For his direction of Richard III he won a Herald Angel Award for best production at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival in Scotland (1998). In addition, he is a permanent staff member at the International Theatre School of Kėklos Teatro and gives classes and workshops in several drama schools around Great Britain.

Paola Coletto-Kaplan is co-founder and managing director of the Kėklos Teatro Organisation. She trained at the Ecole Lecoq in Paris where she also studied in the LEM studio (Laboratoire d'Etude du Mouvement) and completed certification as a pedagogical assistant under the direction of Jacques Lecoq. She was a founding member of Théâtre Poche in London with whom she has worked as a director, performer and teacher throughout Europe. She has performed with Tre Magi Teatro, Cadoneghe Teatro Festival and currently with Kėklos Teatro. She has also trained in leather mask making with the Italian mask maker Donato Sartori. Before founding Kėklos Teatro, she was certified as a physical fitness trainer in Venice. She went on to direct the first fitness gym in Padova which she later expanded, incorporating a beauty center and a health spa; she lived and worked with the Findhorn Community in Scotland. Afterward, she founded the Cultural Association Fantāsia in Padova, where she organised national and internationally based theatre workshops and seminars as well as other locally based cultural and spiritual activities. As a teacher she gives workshops around Italy and is a part of the permanent teaching staff at the International Theatre School of Kėklos Teatro.

Giovanni Fusetti is co-founder and co-director of the Kėklos Teatro International Theatre School. After a long experience in street theatre and social theatre with all sorts of different people, he went to Paris to train at the Ecole Jacques Lecoq, where he also attented the third year pedagogical certification program and LEM (Laboratoire d'Etude du Mouvement). Afterward, he was subsequently employed by the school and taught improvisation under the direction of Jacques Lecoq. He is a member of the international clown trio Il Triangelo; has worked as a performer with Circo Crappo, Teatro Osvaldo and the Clod Ensemble, and as Movement Director with the Commedia dell'Arte company Pantakin da Venezia. He teaches workshops internationally, collaborating with theatre companies, drama schools and universitites. His research in the emotions involved in performance and in the teaching process, led him to train in Gestalt-Therapy at the Ecole Parisienne de Gestalt.

Sean Kaplan is co-founder and an actor in the Theatre Company of Kėklos Teatro. Born in Chicago, he studied at the University of Kansas on a series of theatre scholarships given to actors. He performed in several productions and went on to study on scholarship at the theatre school at the University of Exeter in England. After graduation, he worked in Chicago and fulfilled an internship at the Steppenwolf Theatre as an assistant to the Artistic Office. Upon his completion, he studied at the Ecole Lecoq in Paris. Among some of his credits for the stage are: Teodoro in L'Anconitana for Kėklos Teatro, Brighella in Goldoni's La Cameriera Brillante for Pantakin in Venice, Antonio in The Merchant of Venice at the Exeter Studio in England and Frank Shabatah in Willa Cather's O,Pioneers, directed by John Gronbeck-Tedesco. Work for television includes the NBC mini series A Matter of Justice starring Martin Sheen, the HBO film Truman with Gary Sinise and on public radio as Mario in the nationally broadcast radio drama Burning Patience during the summer Latin american Festival in 1995. His work for film includes the award-winning student film Criss-Crossed as the featured role of Chris, stuntwork for Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York, and a featured role in the upcoming TV miniseries Ferrari directed by Carlo Carlei for the Italian network Canale 5.
